What should be the minimum and maximum Air pressure for the OPTIC cooling valve?

The OPTIC inlet is standard cooled with Air, the Air supply to the valve on the back of the OPTIC controller should have a minimum pressure of 1 BAR and maximum of 7 BAR.

For normal operation 5 BAR is advised.

The Air consumption @ 5 BAR is about 40-50 L/min when the cooling valve is open.

Part number: 2406-4205 OPTIC-4 Inlet Cooling Valve Assembly

The cooling valve was changed from a round to a square version, this was done because the round version was no longer produced.

The direction of the Air flow is important for the valve. Please connect the tubes in the correct way!

When  replacing the valve, please take care to install it as shown on the right picture.
