Is it possible to introduce a liquid sample?

Solution

Yes that is possible, it is even recommended. When the polymer solution is injected into the PTV-pyrolyser, the results can be quantitative. Even Large Volume Injection Pyrolysis can be done.

For liquid pyrolysis it is important to use the correct liner; 2414-1011 and 2414-1007 are the most popular liners for pyrolysis.
