How can I work with an internal standard and TD tubes?

When using LINEX for Thermal Desorption it is possible to introduce an internal standard in an automated way.

The PAL System can inject an internal standard on the TD tube, this can be done both in the tray or inside the inlet. When the TD tube is in the inlet the split flow can blow away the solvent of the internal standard. Once the solvent is gone the inlet can start heating and the sample is transferred onto the analytical column.
