Higher Nitrogen signal with low split flows, problem or not?

Solution

So now and then we get the question if there is a leak in the system when low split flows are used.

When the Nitrogen signal is checked with a MS Detector you will find a higher Nitrogen level when a low split flow is used. This is due because of a low total flow through the system. This is normal and is not a leak.

Below you find 2 pictures with different Split flows.
