Inertsil Ph has Phenethyl groups bonded to Silica gel which offerethyl group is a common functional groupor convetional Phenyl columns. Therefore Inertsil Ph has similar selectivity to other commercially available Ph columns on the market.
There are other Ph columns available from GL Sciences : Inertsil Ph-3 and InertSustain Phenyl are modified to bond Phenyl groups directly to Silica, thus provide different selectivities.
