Cooling down the OPTIC inlet till 30°C can be done with air, but for some cold injections in gas chromatography
it is needed to inject below ambient temperature. To cool the OPTIC inlet below ambient temperature
cryogenic solutions are needed. LN2 or LCO2 solutions are not always welcome in the lab and they require also refilling.
With the OPTIC Cooler it is now possible to cool the OPTIC inlet till 7°C with just dry Air or Nitrogen.
Application: LVI Pyridine and N-Nitrosodimethylamine in Dichloromethane.
